Pennoyer Families,
I'm so excited about our first day of school with our students on Tuesday, September 6th next week! It was so great to meet some of our families and students at the Supply Drop Off/Meet & Greet on Thursday! While Pennoyer is really shaping up and the building is looking good, please be aware that our new air conditioning system will not be up and running until around mid-October. We will have fans in the classrooms, keep windows open when appropriate, and we should have our school vents on that will pump in clean air throughout the day. Make sure your students are dressed appropriately so they're comfortable in school until we get our air conditioning systems up and running. Some rooms will be fairly warm at times. The air conditioning systems should be up and running in common areas such as the gymnasium and the multi purpose room used for our cafeteria.
We appreciate your understanding, support, and patience as our crews work quickly to get everything up and running for our students and staff. We'll certainly work together to make the start of our 2022-2023 school year as special, fun, and comfortable as possible for everyone. Have a great Labor Day weekend!
We Celebrate at Pennoyer!
We had an amazing week with our entire staff during our Opening Institute Days! We kicked things off on Monday getting our staff focus and energized about this coming school year and they certainly rose to the occasion. It's been amazing to see the level of positivity flowing around our building. I couldn't be more proud of every single one of our staff members and the hard work and dedication they put into this past week to get their spaces ready, learn, and collaborate together. We are so ready for Tuesday to see our students!!!
